Indoor Air Quality Assessments
Poor indoor air quality affects health and is some cases work productivity. Air borne pollutants can be carried from your work place and into your home, or vice versa, and will consequently affect others that are not directly exposed to the source. The EPA and Health Canada has found that the air quality indoors can be 6 to 10 times more polluted than the outdoor air in some industrialized cities.
Commonly found indoor air quality pollutants can be caused by chemical off-gassing from commonly found materials, badly maintained ventilation systems, mis-managed humidity levels, combustible gases and sewer gas issues, dust and particulate issues, and in many basements water intrusion leads to mould growth producing air-borne spores, and bacterial issues.
Our trained and experienced Field Technicians provide indoor air quality testing services, indoor environmental assessments including mould testing for homes offices and industrial buildings. These assessments can provide you with detailed information on the composition, sources and levels of indoor pollutants.
Detailed indoor environmental assessments, air quality testing as well as forensic mould inspections will identify the levels as well as the root causes of poor indoor air quality by examining allergens in the breathing zone. Corrective Action Plan (CAP) will be produced that will provide recommendations to correct current Indoor Air Quality problems and prevent future problems.
